About the Author

American Namescape: Our Story is the debut work of Delian James, an Australian researcher who became part of the American story when he married his American wife in Appomattox, Virginia.

James studied philosophy and history at Macquarie University in Sydney and came to national prominence when he won The Chase, a national trivia game show, in 2021.

James and his wife have two children, live on the beaches north of Sydney, and regard the United States as their second home.
